The Horsenecks

Friday 1st December

The Carlile Institute

Meltham, Huddersfield

This is hard-hitting and heartfelt old-time country and classic bluegrass music from the USA & UK! With roots in Portland, Oregon and Liverpool, England, The Horsenecks play a dynamic mix of American roots music that they bring to life with top-shelf musicianship and high-The Horsenecksenergy performance, featuring fiery fiddle, awesome banjo picking and a rock-solid stomping guitar & double bass rhythm section. We’re delighted to have booked this excellent quartet for a gig at The Carlile Institute in Meltham. The Horsenecks are festival favourites on the old-time and bluegrass scene in the UK and USA, and their warm stage presence added to their stellar musicianship makes them a superbly entertaining live band. The Horsenecks are based in Portland, USA most of the time but have been on an extended stay in the UK since early summer. I took the chance to book them for a Yorkshire gig before they return to the States early in the new year. Don’t miss this fabulous fun band!

Advance tickets £10 at (note 10% booking fee online). Paper tickets are also available locally in Meltham at Café 33 and The Flower Box.
