Hailing from Colorado, USA, Stillhouse Junkies perform an entertaining blend of bluegrass, Americana, country roots and blues, combining outstanding musicianship (on fiddle, acoustic guitar, double bass and mandolin) with classic harmonies, catchy songs and a lively stage presence. Born out of a long-standing residency at a distillery in their hometown of Durango, Colorado, Stillhouse Junkies have built a loyal following in their home state and across the American bluegrass scene. Fred, Alissa and Cody travelled to North Carolina last year for the return of the real life International Bluegrass conference and festival, where they wowed audiences with their showcase performances and won the 2021 Momentum Band Award.

“The old expression that you really have to see and hear it for yourself absolutely applies here, as words fail in describing how powerful this group was in multiple showcase performances at World of Bluegrass.” – Bluegrass Today

This talented trio has released three albums to date and recently signed to Nashville’s Dark Shadow Recording label.  Stillhouse Junkies spent several years performing an average of 250 shows a year before the pandemic brought touring to a standstill, and they kept busy in 2020 and 2021 with creative ways to continue bringing their music to fans. They performed a busy programme of front-yard gigs in their home town of Durango, and later produced the winter online series Sidecar. Now back on the road and with their new album due for release later this year, Stillhouse Junkies are sure to win many new fans on their debut tour of the UK. We’re really delighted to be hosting this exceptional band for a concert in Meltham!
