The Jellyman’s Daughter, and gigs coming up in 2019

Coming up next, for our final gig of 2018 we’ll be welcoming excellent Scottish band The Jellyman’s Daughter to Meltham. Edinburgh’s Emily Kelly and Graham Coe are exceptional performers and songwriters, and will be joined on tour by regular band member, talented banjoist  Jamie Francis. With spot-on vocal harmonies, fiery cello, driving guitar and banjo and sweet mandolin,  the trio blends Americana, folk/roots, a touch of bluegrass and a hint of pop. The Jellyman’s Daughter recently completed their first extensive tour of the USA and their latest album was released in May 2018 to glowing reviews. They recently performed in session on BBC Radio Scotland and have also been featured on BBC Radio Two’s Folk Show.

We’re delighted to have booked The Jellyman’s Daughter for our live music series in Meltham, and this should be a great way to wrap up our 2018 programme! As usual there will be a licensed bar run by the community association, so come on out and join us for a pre-Christmas treat. Advance tickets £10 at wegottickets.com (note 10% booking fee online). Paper tickets are also available locally in Meltham at Café 33 and The Flower Box. Ticket link – The Jellyman’s Daughter
