It’s been far too long since I’ve had some news for you here – I’ve had a short break from actually hosting gigs here in Yorkshire, taking a bit of time off this summer to travel, visit festivals and make music myself. I’ve also been busy booking full UK tours for some awesome artists, some of which we’ll be bringing to Huddersfield and Sheffield in late 2018 and early 2019 – so keep your eyes peeled for tour dates! Talking of which, the extravagantly talented Evie Ladin and Keith Terry will be back in the UK this month, direct from helping to run the International Body Music Festival in Ghana. Their UK tour will include gigs at Open Source Arts in Leeds (plus a body percussion workshop) and Nether Edge Folk Club in Sheffield, as well as the prestigious WOMAD Festival. Anyone who was at our double bill gig with them and Foghorn Stringband last year, or any of their many Yorkshire fans, can vouch for the fact that these two are sensational performers! With gorgeous singing, great clawhammer banjo, creative percussion and most uniquely, their amazing body music routines, this is an entertaining duo you should not miss, that ranges with ease and style across the boundaries of traditional and modern roots music and dance.
